Good news for the URJC's online master's degrees. Three of these degrees have managed to be among the top 125 selected by the newspaper 'El Mundo', as published by this newspaper in its recent special edition on education, which evaluates master's degrees from public and private universities.

The main novelty is the entry into the ranking of two qualifications: Law and Procurement and Auditing and Advanced Accounting. The first appears in 5th position in the 'Law' category, and 'El Mundo' highlights the fact that the lawyers who teach this qualification belong to "prestigious professional firms such as Garrigues, Herbert Smith, Gómez-Acebo y Pombo or Ontier. Students have personalized support, especially for carrying out external internships." The second, on the other hand, occupies 4th position in the 'Finance' category and in this case, the authors of the ranking highlight its realization "in collaboration with the General Council of Economists (CGE) and the fact that it has prestigious collaborators such as EY or KPMG. It is also approved by the Institute of Accounting and Auditing of Accounts (ICAC) and accredited by ACCA Global."

On the other hand, the Master's in Hydrology and Water Resources Management is ranked 3rd in its category, 'Environment', standing out for its high demand, as it multiplies the number of applications by three compared to the places offered and for its high-level teaching staff, made up of people from the academy and professionals from both the public and private sectors. In addition, many of the practical hours are organised into field trips.

For Diana Benito, Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Strategy, “this year it is worth highlighting that we entered this ranking with two new online master's degrees, the Master in Law and Procurement and the Master in Auditing and Advanced Accounting, and we gained two positions in the Master in Hydrology and Water Resources Management. It is very relevant to add that our master's degrees are the only ones offered by public universities that appear in the ranking in the categories of law and the environment. In the Master in Hydrology and Water Resources Management, which we share with the University of Alcalá, we have reached third place among the best in its category, where we have been at the top of the best online master's degrees in the environment in Spain since 2022." The Deputy Vice-Chancellor concludes that "leading these rankings not only benefits the URJC, but also contributes to strengthening the public university system in general."

In short, a good result for the URJC's postgraduate degrees, which have once again managed to position themselves among the best in the country.
