This Monday, October 14, a new edition of the culture weekThis is the third edition since this initiative was resumed.

The aim of the Week is to “give space to activities and events related to culture that do not always have a place in the daily life of the university,” says Javier Otero, academic director of Culture at the URJC.

The range of activities is very extensive, and there are activities for all tastes and related to all areas of knowledge. The activities come from proposals made by the university community. In the program you will be able to find many proposals related to cinema, journalism, theater, music, dance, "with activities on all campuses," says Otero.

Among the highlights is the opening of the film classroom with the screening of the Netflix film 'You are not alone' about the case of 'the pack', which will be attended by the director and director: Almudena Carracedo and Robert Bahar.

In addition, this Week will host a fashion show organised by students which is celebrating its 3rd anniversary.

This week full of cultural activities will close with two concerts: the 'Conference and Performance on Flamenco' with Felipe Lara (on the Aranjuez campus) and the 'Film Concert', which will take place on the esplanade of the Fuenlabrada Library.

For Javier Otero, for a public university, holding and developing a cultural week must be something fundamental.”

An opportunity to discover a wide variety of cultural proposals born from the URJC university community.
