'Resident Entrepreneur' is an introductory course on entrepreneurship aimed at URJC students and entrepreneurs. It allows them to “learn first-hand what this sector consists of, what are the problems that an entrepreneur faces every day, they will be able to see real cases of professionals and exchange impressions with them”, as indicated by the organization. Participants from the university will receive 1 ECTS credit.
Four workshops will be held online, spanning the entire morning from 10:30 to 13:30. During these activities, concepts will be taught and tools used to get started in the world of entrepreneurship, allowing participants to gain knowledge about how to carry out a business strategy and work as a team. Professionals from the sector will participate, providing basic notions for the design of a business model, as well as covering more specific points such as the economic-financial plan or the guidelines to follow for innovation. In the last session, the work developed throughout the week will be presented and the best proposal will receive recognition.
In order to enter the program, the first 50 applicants will have to pass a personal interview, from which 40 will be selected to participate. The deadline for registration ends on Sunday, November 3, and can be done here.
