A conference examines the role of institutions in economic development URJC analyzes the role of institutions in economic development

The event addresses how institutions contribute to social transformation and economic development, highlighting the role of Social Economy organizations in this process of change.

Today, Tuesday, November 19, the auditorium of the Vicálvaro Library hosts the conference 'Social transformation: the role of institutions in economic development'.

The event will consist of a series of presentations by URJC figures such as Alberto Alonso Ureba, Professor of Commercial Law, and will also feature speakers from outside the University such as Ms. María Jesús Romero de Ávila Torrijos, Director General of Economics at Madrid City Council. Finally, attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy a round table discussion on the participation of institutions in economic growth.

The event was organized by the Rey Juan Carlos University together with the Federation of Cooperatives and Social Economy of Madrid (FECOMA) and the School of Professional Specialization in Social Economy, Cooperatives and Other Participation Organizations (EESCOOP)In this sense, the event is led by Mr. Fernando Sacristán Bergia, Professor of Commercial Law at the Rey Juan Carlos University and Mr. Carlos de la Higuera Pérez, President of FECOMA.
