The rector of the university, Javier Ramos, has participated in the round table “Madrid, cultural capital and gateway to Latin America”. He was joined by Ximena Caraza, general director of the Casa de México in Spain; Miguel Ángel Benzal, general director of Egeda; Ana Carmen Lavín Berdonces, delegate of National Heritage in Aranjuez, and Juan Miguel Sucunza, vice president of CEAPI and executive vice president of EULEN.
Judith Piquet, president of the Madrid Federation of Municipalities, and Miguel Herrero, mayor of Aranjuez, have carried out the institutional opening of the event. José Antonio Sánchez, deputy minister of the Presidency and Local Administration, has given the presentation 'Madrid, from the local to the global'. In addition, another round table has been held on 'industry as a backbone for the municipalities of the region', in which several experts and personalities from the public administration and private companies have participated.
The institutional closing ceremony was led by Mariano de Paco, Minister of Culture, Tourism and Sport of the Community of Madrid. Finally, a cocktail and networking space was opened.
