'DesinfoRETO' will start its activity in February and will consist of a competition divided into four phases per month, which will last until May. Once a month, students will have to pass an online test through a virtual classroom, in groups of 3 to 5 people.
The evaluation of the tests will be carried out by a teaching team formed by professors from both universities. These professors will analyze the results of the tests objectively and each phase of the project will have a winning team from each university. Finally, once the league is over, the two teams from each university, with the highest score, will face each other in person in June in the city of Valladolid. It is worth noting that both the winning team of each phase and the final champion will receive a prize.
About the event has driven it el Center for Teaching Innovation and Digital Education (CIED) from the Rey Juan Carlos University and has a teaching team from each university.
Rebeca Martín, professor of Audiovisual Communication and Advertising at the URJC and member of the project, highlights that DesinfoRETO is a “useful activity for students to develop critical thinking.” MartínHe adds that the league aims to acquire a transversal character, “we have not wanted to exclude any branch of knowledge.”
