The event where this recognition took place was organized, at the end of December, by the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities through the Spanish Service for the Promotion of the Internationalization of Education (SEPIE)

The Rey Juan Carlos University has been chosen as an example of good practices in the International Dimension of the Erasmus+ Programme, in which actions are carried out with non-European institutions. 

The Director of Internationalisation of the URJC, Pablo Salvadores, after presenting the University, its history and its overall internationalisation figures, has detailed how our university, through the Vice-Rectorate for International Relations, has obtained more than 3.200.000 euros in recent years in competitive projects for the development of internationalisation activities with non-European institutions.

The Rey Juan Carlos University has received the highest rating among Spanish universities in this field and has carried out actions with a total of 72 universities from 28 non-European countries, benefiting more than 600 professors and students who have undertaken mobility thanks to these European funds.

Pablo Salvadores has highlighted various specific actions carried out with these European funds and framed within the university's internationalisation strategy, connecting these funds with the European university alliance EULiST, thus creating synergies with which results and multiplier effects have been obtained. 

Important news that is a boost for the URJC's internationalisation strategy, a strategic element for the university.
