Science and Innovation Week

The Madrid Science and Innovation Week is coordinated by the madri+d Knowledge Foundation. The URJC has participated in this event since its inception, carrying out activities that cover different areas of knowledge. In this event, the URJC puts into operation and collaboration a large number of Teaching and Research Personnel (PDI), as well as Technical Personnel for Management, Administration and Services (PTGAS).

From November 4 to 17, 2024, the twenty-fourth edition of Madrid Science and Innovation Week will be held. In this event, the URJC scientific community will offer a broad program of free activities with the aim of actively involving society in research and development processes in science, technology and innovation.

This event has the collaboration of the Spanish Foundation for Science and Technology (FECYT) – Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities, through the Call for aid to promote scientific, technological and innovation culture 2023.

XXIII Madrid Science and Innovation Week

From November 6 to 19, 2023, the twenty-third edition of Madrid Science and Innovation Week was held. At this event, the URJC scientific community has offered an extensive program of free activities with the aim of actively involving society in research and development processes in science, technology and innovation.

XXII Madrid Science and Innovation Week

From November 7 to 20, 2022, the twenty-second edition of the Madrid Science and Innovation Week was held. This event has coincided with the commemoration of the 25th anniversary of the URJC and its scientific community has offered an extensive program of free activities with the aim of actively involving society in the research and development processes in science, technology and innovation.

XXI Madrid Science and Innovation Week

The scientific community of the Rey Juan Carlos University has participated in this edition with an extensive program made up of 137 free activities with the aim of promoting citizen participation in the scientific process and giving visibility to studies in the social sciences and humanities. During the XXI Week of Science and Innovation in Madrid, activities that promote the objectives to achieve the European Green Deal have also been highlighted, with the double objective of reducing social inequalities and fighting climate change.

Madrid Science and Innovation Week 2020

In this 2th edition, held from November 15 to 2020, XNUMX, multidisciplinary research and studies related to the COVID-XNUMX pandemic have been highlighted. COVID-19.

In addition, the support of the Community of Madrid for the achievement of the Sustainable Development Goals. In this sense, this edition has commemorated the International Year of Plant Health (FAO), which aims to raise awareness of how plant protection can help safeguard the environment, boost economic development and facilitate trade, among other aspects.

2019 Science and Innovation Week

The 4th edition of the Madrid Science and Innovation Week was held from November 17 to 2019, 50. With the slogan "For inclusive science", this edition's main objective was to support public awareness of the Objectives United Nations Millennium Sustainable Development Goals to eradicate poverty, protect the planet and ensure gender equality and prosperity for all as part of a new sustainable development agenda. In addition, this event was added to the celebration of the International Year of the Periodic System of Chemical Elements and the XNUMXth Anniversary of the arrival of man on the Moon.
