On February 14th, European Sexual and Reproductive Health Day will be celebrated. This date has been used to promote and commemorate responsible behaviour since 2003.
Taking advantage of this celebration, the Rey Juan Carlos University will organize a series of educational workshops. “This year we intend to cover the different pillars of sexual health: taking care of our body, protecting ourselves from STIs and working on healthy relationships,” explain the organizers. “These types of activities are in high demand by students,” they add.
Among the workshops that will be held throughout the month of February we find: 'Sexualities', on healthy habits in relationships; 'Menstrual Cycle'; 'Relational Diversity', on models of personal bonding; 'Jealousy and communication', and 'Care of the female and male pelvic floor'. All the information on the workshops is available this article.
UniSaludable highlights that “these workshops are very important since sex is still a taboo among young people and there is a lot of misinformation.” “It is essential to create spaces to debate and clarify doubts,” they add.
