A group of 30 students from the first years of the Faculty of Economics and Business from the Rey Juan Carlos University are visiting the headquarters of the American company in Ireland today. The initiative aims to introduce students to the professional environment of one of the world's largest technology companies.

The agenda for the day, which takes place between 9:00 a.m. and 14:00 p.m., includes a tour of the facilities of Google and various training sessions on career guidance. These talks, given by company employees, will allow students to learn about their experiences first-hand and receive advice on the world of work. In addition, the event will end with a lunch, encouraging interaction with Google employees.

The visit arose from the interest of the students themselves, who planned a trip to the Irish capital and expressed their desire to see Google's facilities. Mario Balsera Rodríguez, from the Association of Economics and Business Students, forwarded this request to María Teresa Ballestar, professor of Economics at the URJC, who, thanks to her close collaboration with business professionals in Dublin, coordinated the activity with the company.

"Our colleagues in Dublin have been very helpful in organising this visit, which will undoubtedly be an unforgettable experience for the students, and we hope they can experience first-hand what it is like to work for a multinational of this level," explains Ballestar.

Thanks to this initiative, URJC students will have a unique opportunity to learn about the inner workings of a leading company in the technology sector, as well as to resolve their doubts and obtain recommendations from experts in the digital field.
