'GameGen' is an event that has been held every year since 2015 on the Móstoles campus and brings together people who love video games. This year, 2025, it will be ten years old and the organizers point out that “we wanted to take this very special edition to the next level with a larger space and greater variety.” Access to the event is free and students of the university will be able to obtain RAC credits by registering. here.
The event will feature more than 30 tournaments and raffles offered by companies such as 'PlayStation'. In addition, there will be several presentations about the different areas of the video game world. The winners of the competitions offered by the association will also be announced: the fifth edition of 'GameJam', on the creation of a video game' and the eighth edition of 'GameCept', on conceptual art.
The event will also feature an exhibition of demos where developers can present their creations. “We will have 20 tables so that indie studios and students can give visibility to their projects,” the association points out.
Finally, the closing gala will feature the URJC Orchestra, which will perform some of the best soundtracks in the history of video games.
