The URJC programming for March has begun with the conclusion of the 2nd Musical Workshop of the Music classroom which took place over the past month. “It is an activity that students really like, as it represents an opportunity to get started in the musical theatre industry,” explains Javier Otero, academic director of Culture.
On March 7, international actress Roberta Carreri visited the Fuenlabrada campus to review her artistic career in 'El Camino de Nora'. “It was a very interesting experience and a master class that was attended by a large number of students,” says the academic director.
The Fuenlabrada campus's Film Classroom will host the screening of two films this month. This Wednesday, March 12 at 18:30 p.m., you can see 'La mesita del comedor' by Caye Casas, who, after the screening, will hold a discussion accompanied by part of his team. Regarding this activity, the academic director of culture points out that "it is one of the most powerful films that the classroom offers and we expect a great attendance."
At the end of the month, you will also be able to enjoy the winner of the Goya for best animated film 2025, 'Mariposas negras', along with a discussion by its director, David Baute. In addition, the Instagram of URJC Culture continues the initiative of the Thematic Month of film recommendations. This month, the theme consists of films that did not achieve a nomination for this year's 'Oscars'.
Finally, the URJC 2025 Cultural Promotion Competitions have been announced, with the theme of this edition being climate change. “We hope that this year we will have greater participation and that we will be able to enjoy high-quality works,” says the academic director.
With these activities, the URJC continues its wide cultural offering for the entire university community.
