La House of America This Wednesday, Madrid will host the 1st Madrid Trade Forum, a meeting of various experts who will analyze the importance of the Atlantic connection for Spanish foreign trade and investment in Latin America. The conference will bring together professionals from the fields of economics, trade, and investment, who will discuss the challenges and opportunities of a region whose geopolitical context is constantly evolving.

The seminar, which will be held from 10:00 a.m. to 13:00 p.m. in the Miguel de Cervantes Room of the Ibero-American institution, will begin with an opening address by Moisés Morera, Director of Programming at Casa de América; Fernando Velasco, Director of the CSISD; and Bruno Masier, President of OICEX.

Following the opening ceremony, Ramón Jáuregui, president of the Euroamerica Foundation, will deliver a presentation entitled "European Union – CELAC: Unfinished Business in Current Trade Geopolitics." This will be followed by a special address by Ramón Casilda, president of the Association of Multilatina Companies in Spain, who will discuss the current state and prospects for Spanish trade and investment in Latin America within the geopolitical context.

Several specialists will then discuss the geopolitics of Atlantic trade and its consequences for the West today. Finally, the forum will conclude with the signing of the Madrid Declaration, which will be addressed by the Deputy Minister of Economy and Employment of the Community of Madrid, Daniel Rodríguez.
