Last Saturday, the Vila de Móstoles Theater was packed with people for the concert organized by the URJC Choir to commemorate its history.

The evening lasted almost two hours and consisted of a choral gathering that brought together eight different types of choirs from Madrid. Regarding this concert, Gemma Camps, director of the choir and orchestra, explains, "It was moving to be able to celebrate so many years of work in such a large capacity." "There was a wide variety of choirs, and the audience received it very well," she adds.

In addition to performances by the URJC Choir and the University Choir for Seniors, the concert featured the Souldrivers group, the Aetherius Ensemble, and the Juan XXIII Choir.

The audience was also able to enjoy the pop style of the Nayru choir, along with the a cappella singing of the Ars Musicae group and the repertoire of the Esperanto choir. "It's very gratifying to be able to meet other groups and collaborate with them," notes the director.

This very special event served to highlight the importance of this group for the university. Gemma Camps notes that "it's beautiful to see that such a diverse group has lasted 25 years." "It says a lot about this university that it invests so much in culture and allows us to continue doing these things," she concludes.
