The call for entries for the 14th Women Entrepreneurs Award is now open. Rey Juan Carlos University, through its entrepreneurship support services, is collaborating by providing several mentoring sessions on business start-up for the first, second, and third-place winners.

The 2025 Women Entrepreneurs Award is aimed at women-led businesses, whether individuals or legal entities. Individuals can be sole proprietors, self-employed individuals, or limited-liability entrepreneurs. Legal entities must meet the requirement that more than 50% of their shares or interests belong to women.

The registration period is open until May 14, and initiatives based on technology, social, cultural, or environmental issues can be submitted, provided they are led by women and are no more than seven years old.

In addition to institutional recognition, the winners will receive financial prizes, support for disseminating their initiatives, and access to visibility and networking opportunities, consolidating their position as role models for future female entrepreneurs.

This initiative, now in its fourteenth year, seeks to highlight and support business projects led by women. The URJC's involvement in these types of projects strengthens the link between the public university and Madrid's entrepreneurial ecosystem.
