This annual event is a relevant opportunity to assess the current status of the Alliance, review the results achieved, and outline future goals. This year, sessions focused on cross-cutting topics for the development of the Alliance were also organized: mobility strategies for students and staff at EULiST, sustainable campuses, the promotion of STEM education, the development of the digital campus, the internship platform, and internal and external communication. The latter was coordinated by Rey Juan Carlos University.
During the Assembly, the working group leaders presented the results of the work carried out over the past year and the activities planned for 2025.
Highlights included presentations from two upcoming events: the 30nd Student Conference (June 4–July 2025 at the Dubai campus), organized by IMT's French partners, and the EULiST Global Conference 20: Co-Creating Sustainable Solutions for Climate-Resilient Societies, to be held November 21–XNUMX at the Aranjuez campus.
One of the event's highlights was the inauguration of the 2024-25 academic year for Italian universities, attended by rectors of Italian universities and representatives of the universities that are part of EULiST.
In addition, within the framework of the General Assembly, the first session of the Alliance-sponsored seminar entitled "Challenge-Based Learning: An Active Pedagogy in Higher Education" was held.
For the Vice-Rector for International Relations, María Luisa Humanes, “with this General Assembly, EULiST reaffirms its commitment to collaborating on common projects and to innovation in European higher education.”
A new step towards greater integration and synergy creation in higher education in the Union.
