This Thursday, the lecture hall of Departmental I and classroom 002 of Aulario I of the Fuenlabrada campus will host a Career opportunities day for Humanities degrees. Organized by the FAH, four tables will be set up, corresponding to the degrees in History, Philosophy, Spanish Language and Literature, and Translation and Interpreting, along with their respective double degrees.

The initiative, which was created with the aim of offering students a broader view of job opportunities upon graduation, will feature various specialists who will advise students on their future after leaving university and explain their career paths and prospects. In this regard, Helena Domínguez del Triunfo, academic coordinator of pre-university guidance and information at the FAH, noted that "the goal is to provide a broad overview of the different career paths available for Humanities degrees and to foster vocations beyond academic teaching."

The opening ceremony, which will take place at 9:30 a.m., will feature Miguel Ángel Esparza, Dean of the Faculty of Arts and Humanities. Following this welcome address, the URJC Job Board and the Alumni Office will offer a seminar-workshop in which they will explain how to write a good CV and provide tips for aspiring job interviews. They will also offer resources for graduates.

First, from 10:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the History panel will be held in the assembly hall. The Philosophy panel will then take place in the same space from 12:00 p.m. to 14:00 p.m. Following this same schedule, the Spanish Language and Literature panel, followed by Translation and Interpreting, will be held in Room 002 of the aforementioned Lecture Hall. It is also worth noting that the four presentations, which will feature professionals from other public universities in Madrid and external organizations, will be moderated by professors from Rey Juan Carlos University.
