With the aim of preparing students for their international academic experience, the CUI has launched a new edition of its immersive German, French, and Italian courses, aimed exclusively at Erasmus scholarship recipients at universities in these countries.
The programs, completely free, offer intensive training of 20 hours in each language and are designed according to the levels and guidelines of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR)The program seeks not only to develop basic language skills but also to familiarize students with cultural aspects and everyday and academic situations they may encounter during their international stay, from renting an apartment to communicating with a professor or making an appointment.
The courses will be taught on different campuses and on different dates, depending on the language. The German course will be held on the Móstoles campus, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 13:00 p.m., between May 27 and June 17. The French course will be held on the Vicálvaro campus, on Mondays and Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 13:00 p.m., from May 29 to June 19. The Italian course will also be offered on the Vicálvaro campus, on Tuesdays and Thursdays from 10:00 a.m. to 14:00 p.m., between May 27 and June 10.
Passing the course, which includes recognition of 1 ECTS, requires attendance at 80% of classes and participation in the proposed activities.
