Good news for the Occupational Therapy degree at the URJC. Rey Juan Carlos University once again tops the El Mundo ranking in this specialty, as it has done for the past three years.

El Mundo highlights that the degree "has a high number of clinical credits (60 ECTS and 1.800 hours, of which 1.260 are in-person fieldwork)." Furthermore, it highlights the fact that "its teaching team is made up of a large number of occupational therapists, most of them doctors with extensive experience."

According to Diana Benito, Deputy Vice-Rector for Strategy, "The recognition of Rey Juan Carlos University as a leading institution in Occupational Therapy training by the El Mundo ranking confirms our commitment to high academic quality. The solidity of our curriculum, the methodological rigor, and the applied approach to our training allow our graduates not only to acquire advanced theoretical knowledge but also to develop essential practical skills for professional practice."

El Mundo also highlighted the Physiotherapy degree, in which the URJC is once again among the top three universities in which to study this specialty. This newspaper draws attention to the fact that: “a study by the publishing house Elsevier, based on information provided by the Scopus database (Stanford University), has placed five researchers from its Physiotherapy Department among the most cited in the world.”

On the other hand, the ranking also places Environmental Sciences (the fourth best in Spain), which the Unidad Editorial newspaper states is "a degree highly valued by the Professional Association of Environmentalists of the Community of Madrid, as well as by companies in the sector." In fifth place nationally in its specialties are Audiovisual Communication and Tourism at the URJC, among the five best places to study these specialties. Regarding the former, it highlights the number of "agreements that the URJC maintains with the main public and private companies in the film, television, and digital sectors." Regarding the Tourism degree, it indicates that the URJC "together with the Community of Madrid and the Madrid Hotel Business Association has launched 'Check in Jobs,' a large talent pool for the hotel sector."

According to Diana Benito, "The recognition of our degrees in Physiotherapy, Environmental Sciences, Audiovisual Communication, and Tourism among the best in the country reflects the consolidation of our programs as benchmarks. The generation of knowledge, the connection with the professional community, and the commitment to active learning methodologies are fundamental pillars of our university, thus achieving the development of highly qualified professionals to face contemporary challenges in their respective disciplines."

Another example of the Rey Juan Carlos University's commitment to providing the best academic offerings for its students.
