Sustainable design and interdisciplinary work
The agreement aims to develop design proposals for spatial planning and the configuration of booths, stands, and pavilions, following principles of sustainability and energy efficiency. The proposals have been materialized in prototypes and panels exhibited during the 2024 Madrid Book Fair, with the aim of raising awareness among visiting public about the importance of sustainable design.
Interventions in the Madrid Book Fair They are based on the vinyl covering of the central office booth that integrates QR codes to access sustainable proposals in virtual reality, and on the construction of the Madroño signing booth, a space made with certified wood and textile canvas, which incorporates versatile furniture designed by the students according to criteria of sustainability, functionality and reuse.
