International paid internship programs in the USA for URJC students and graduates with travelingua

Stays from 2 months to 18 months. American J-1 Visa (International J-1 Exchange Visa Program)

These internships will not be recognized as external academic internships nor can they be formalized from the External Internship Unit.

Work programs and internships in the USA:

  • Work & TravelUSA paid jobs at top amusement parks, water parks, and national parks in the United States. Guaranteed position with a salary of (minimum) $2000 per month.
  • Monitor Camp USA  jobs as a camp counselor at an American Camp. Students have the free accommodation and food. In addition, they charge a salary of $2100 for his 8-week stay. It is the program that best suits students of Teaching, Education and CAFD.
  • Internship usa (Stays from 3 months to a maximum of 18 months). Price from €1.355 (depending on duration). Travelingua has a new placement service so you can find professional internships in your area of ​​expertise.
  • Travelingua is responsible for providing you with a job, obtaining health insurance, 24/7 assistance in the USA, an American SIM card, payment of the SEVIS immigration fee and work authorizations to obtain the J-1 visa.

Requirements to participate in Travelingua programs:

  • Be between 18 and 30 years old and be a university student or graduate of the URJC
  • Intermediate or high level of English
  • Availability of more than 8 weeks to work in the summer in the USA
  • Positive and proactive personality

Registration:

Those interested should contact Travelingua by email at  or call 965 123 812 or 691313410, indicating the program you're interested in and your personal information (name/phone number/email). Spaces are limited and are filled on a first-come, first-served basis.

The final selection of candidates is carried out by Travelingua and the American companies. If selected, the candidate must confirm their desire to participate so that the VISA-J-1 procedures can begin.


8th edition of the Travelingua SCHOLARSHIPS

Travelingua offers 9 scholarships that cover all program expenses to young people whose socioeconomic circumstances do not allow them to live an experience abroad: 

  • 5 for the Work and Travel USA program (each scholarship valued at more than 2.400 euros per student)
  • 4 scholarships for the Camp USA program (each scholarship worth more than 700 euros per student)

The requirements for accessing the scholarship are:

  • Academic requirement: have more than an 8 out of 10 in the last year completed.
  • Financial requirementCandidates must come from a family with income level 1 or 2 or have received the MEC scholarship.
