International Program Studies and Internships "A Magical Opportunity" with the University of California, Riverside, and Walt Disney World Resort, Florida, USA, for undergraduate students in Tourism, Economics, Business, Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations, Journalism, Audiovisual Communication, Digital Communication, International Relations, Protocol and Labor Relations and Human Resources (from June 22, 2025 to January 8, 2026).

Requirements to participate in the program

  • Be enrolled from the time of submitting the application until the end of the program in a URJC degree corresponding to one of the following areas: Tourism, Economics, Business, Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations, Journalism, Audiovisual Communication, Digital Communication, International Relations, Protocol and Labor Relations and Human Resources.
  • Be 18 years of age at the time of application
  • Having passed a minimum of 60 credits in one of the degrees mentioned in point a) at the time of applying.
  • Have a pass average at least in the grade you are studying at the URJC
  • Have a high level of English by providing an official certificate (ESL Test: TOEFL, IELTS, or DUOLINGO). If you do not provide any of the certificates indicated, you must take the DUOLINGO test, free of charge, within the period established by UCR. The link will be sent in a timely manner by UCR to all students who have not included in their application any of the certificates indicated in this section and who meet the rest of the admission requirements.

Program Dates

  • Arrival at the University of California, Riverside (UCR): June 22, 2025.
  • From June 23 to July 4, 2025: Study program at UCR, California (2 weeks).
  • July 6, 2025: Travel to Disney, Florida, USA. (From LAX airport to MCO. Check-in at Disney accommodations on July 7 at 12 noon)
  • From July 8, 2025 to January 7, 2026: Paid internship in Disney, Florida (6 months).
  • January 8, 2026: return to Spain

The initial presentation of the Program will take place on the day February 10th 2025 by the University of California, Riverside at:

  • Vicálvaro Campus at 12 noon in the Auditorium of the Library Building.
  • Fuenlabrada Campus at 17pm in the Graduation Hall of the Departmental Building

Students pre-selected by the University of California Riverside (UCR) must attend the final presentation of the Program and conduct interviews with representatives of the University of California Riverside on Tuesday March 11, 2025, at 10am, in the Main Hall of Hall III of the Móstoles CampusThose who pass the UCR interview phase will then receive emails from Disney to complete an online application and schedule an appointment for the final Disney online interview.

The final selection of candidates is made by the representatives of UCR and Disney. If selected, the candidate must confirm their desire to participate by paying a fee and then the J-VISA process begins.
