International Program Studies and Internships "A Magical Opportunity" with the University of California, Riverside, and Walt Disney World Resort, Florida, USA, for undergraduate students in Tourism, Economics, Business, Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations, Journalism, Audiovisual Communication, Digital Communication, International Relations, Protocol and Labor Relations and Human Resources (from June 22, 2026 to January 7, 2027).

Requirements to participate in the program

  1. Be enrolled from the time of submitting the application until the end of the program in a URJC degree corresponding to one of the following areas: Tourism, Economics, Business, Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations, Journalism, Audiovisual Communication, Digital Communication, International Relations, Protocol and Labor Relations and Human Resources.
  2. Be 18 years of age at the time of application
  3. Having passed a minimum of 60 credits in one of the degrees mentioned in point a) at the time of applying.
  4. Have a pass average at least in the grade you are studying at the URJC
  5. Applicants must demonstrate a high level of English proficiency by providing an official certificate obtained within the last two years (ESL Test: TOEFL, IELTS, or Duolingo). If applicants cannot provide one of the aforementioned certificates, they must take the Duolingo test within the timeframe established by UCR. The link will be sent by UCR to all students who did not include one of the certificates mentioned in this section in their application and who meet the other admission requirements.

Program Dates

  • Arrival at the University of California, Riverside (UCR): June 21, 2026.
  • From June 22 to July 4, 2026: Study program at UCR, California (2 weeks).
  • July 5, 2026: Trip to Disney, Florida, USA. (From LAX airport to MCO. Check-in at Disney accommodations on July 6 at 12 noon)
  • From July 7, 2026 to January 6, 2027: Paid internship at Disney, Florida (6 months).
  • January 7, 2027: return to Spain

Students pre-selected by the University of California Riverside (UCR) must attend the final presentation of the Program and conduct interviews with representatives of the University of California-Riverside and Disney, the February 24, 2026, at 10 a.m., in the Aula Magna of the Aulario II of the Móstoles Campus.

The University of California offers three scholarships of $3 each.

The final selection of candidates is made by the representatives of UCR and Disney. If selected, the candidate must confirm their desire to participate by paying a fee and then the J-VISA process begins.
