Requirements to participate in the program

  • Be enrolled from the moment of making the application until the end of the program in a URJC degree corresponding to one of the following areas: Tourism, Economy, Business, Marketing, Advertising and Public Relations, Journalism, Audiovisual Communication, International Relations, Protocol or Labor Relations.
  • Be 18 years of age at the time of application
  • Have approved at the time of making the application a minimum of 60 credits in the degree in which they are enrolled.
  • Have a pass average at least in the grade you are studying at the URJC
  • Have a high level of language in English by providing an official certificate (ESL Test: TOEFL, IELTS, or DUOLINGO). If you do not provide any of the indicated certificates, you must take the DUOLINGO test, free of charge, within the period established by UCR.

Program Dates

  • Arrival at the University of California, Riverside (UCR): June 23, 2024.
  • From June 24 to July 5, 2024: Study program at UCR, California (2 weeks).
  • July 7, 2024: Travel to Disney, Florida, USA. (From LAX airport to MCO. Check-in at Disney accommodations on July 8 at 12 noon)
  • From July 9, 2024 to January 1, 2025: Paid internship in Disney, Florida (6 months).
  • January 2, 2025: return to Spain

The presentation initial of the Program by the University of California Riverside will take place on Wednesday January 24, 2024

  • On the Vicálvaro Campus at 12 noon in the Graduate Hall of the departmental building
  • On the Fuenlabrada Campus at 17:XNUMX p.m. in the Degree Hall of the departmental building

The presentation end of program by the University of California and DISNEY, open to any interested party, including parents of students, and compulsory attendance for all candidates, will take place the Tuesday, February 20, 2024 at 10 a.m. in the Aula Magna of Aulario III of the Móstoles Campus.After the presentation of the program, the interviews will be held on  February 20th 2024 in the meeting rooms of the Departmental Building I of the Móstoles Campus: 144, 145 and 102.The final selection of candidates is made by the representatives of UCR and Disney. If selected, the candidate must confirm their desire to participate by paying a fee and then the J-VISA process begins. 

The University of California Riverside will offer 3 scholarships of USD 1.000 each to 3 URJC candidates selected after interviews.
