1. Why did you choose the master's degree in Business Communication Management and Research at our university and how has your experience been?

I studied the Master's Degree in Business Communication Management and Research at the Fuenlabrada Campus in 2008. I chose it as a complement to my degree in journalism because I wanted to train in institutional communication and I found the perfect postgraduate degree at URJC that combined communication and business. My experience was fabulous, I learned a lot and it opened doors for me in my career.

The postgraduate course was very complete and I met great professors like Almudena Manso, eager to teach and for us to learn. I also found great friends.

2. What has led you to pursue your degree at the URJC?

When I started looking for a postgraduate degree, I saw that it was the only public university that offered this training. In addition, it seemed very interesting to me that it was in Madrid, so that led me to choose this postgraduate degree.

3. What do you highlight the most or what do you value most about your university stage at URJC?

In addition to the training, the great people I met, some are still on my path and are very important to me, both teachers and classmates. People are the key to everything.

4. Would you change anything about your time at URJC?

Perhaps the postgraduate schedule, but it is understandable that when addressing graduates or graduates, it should be done in the afternoon.

5. What has graduating meant to you?

Finishing my training meant opening up to the world of work, the postgraduate course is a complement to the career that gives you time to mature and put on the knowledge previously acquired.

6. What is your employment situation after finishing the degree?

Thanks to a fellow student I found a stable job that allowed me to learn and grow personally and professionally, then I went to Ireland to perfect my English.

7. When you finish your degree and become a URJC Alumni, what advice would you give to students who are finishing their studies at this university?

That they meet many people, is what I can say, knowledge is acquired, but people guide your steps and open doors for you. I would advise them to attend events, seminars, to interact with teachers, with people of other ages, from other cultures.

8. How do you imagine yourself professionally in a period of five to ten years?

I am currently the Press Officer of the Ministry of Women, Equality, LGTBI, Families, Social Policy and Transparency in Murcia and I see myself in a similar position, it carries responsibility but is very rewarding. I would also like to have my own cultural radio, but this is a more personal project.

9. Do you think that the pandemic has affected your work development, or, on the contrary, has it become an opportunity?

During the pandemic, I worked in a radio station that also acted as a producer and we had the opportunity to do great projects, such as the production of a three-part documentary about the pandemic. Also, I created a radio show to talk about the use of dating apps and it was a success, and I also produced a show about the pandemic. I was also able to start training at the Chamber of Commerce, discovering the educational field was something magical. So the pandemic for me has been a great job opportunity.

10. Do you plan to continue studying and do you value doing it again at our university?

I am currently doing a University Expert in Political Communication, but I plan to do the master's degree in cultural journalism at the URJC, it would be interesting if they offered the online modality.
