1. Why did you choose the degree in Advertising and Public Relations at our university and how has your experience been?

The world of Marketing and Advertising has always attracted me, since I was little, so I was very clear about what my first option would be when choosing a career.

My experience at the university was very positive! We were the 1st promotion of the Fuenlabrada Campus, so we saw how the university was built from scratch during the 5 years of study.

2. What has led you to pursue your degree at the URJC?

It was clear to me that I wanted to study Advertising at a public university in Madrid, so the alternatives were reduced and the URJC was one of these alternatives.

3. What do you highlight the most or what do you value most about your university stage at URJC?

The college experience as a whole. It is an incredible stage of life, in which you finish defining yourself and forming yourself as a person, and in which you acquire essential knowledge when facing the world of work.

4. Would you change anything about your time at URJC?

The long transfers to Fuenlabrada, since at that time he lived in the north of Madrid.

5. What has graduating meant to you?

Join the world of work in the sector in which I have always wanted to work, dedicating myself to what I am passionate about.

6. What is your employment situation after finishing the degree?

In my case, it was a bachelor's degree (5 years) that I studied. Since I graduated I have not stopped working in digital marketing (18 years ago), occupying different positions and positions in different advertising agencies, as well as being responsible for a specific discipline of digital marketing (programmatic) in a large consultant. I am currently Sales Director in one of the world's leading technologies for the activation and measurement of digital campaigns (Adform).

7. When you finish your degree and become a URJC Alumni, what advice would you give to students who are finishing their studies at this university?

That they join the world of work with motivation and desire and not despair in the face of a labor market that is often unfair.

8. How do you imagine yourself professionally in a period of five to ten years?

Continuing in a position similar to the current one within my sector.

9. Do you think that the pandemic has affected your work development, or, on the contrary, has it become an opportunity?

What was initially a threat has finally become a great opportunity, as the volume of activity in digital marketing has not stopped growing since the end of the confinement.

Personally, it has made me rethink my day to day, differentiating what is important from what is urgent and better balancing my personal and professional life.

10. Do you plan to continue studying and do you value doing it again at our university?

My sector is tremendously dynamic, so stopping training is a professional "death sentence". You have to be permanently trained, because new trends, disciplines, channels, formats and, ultimately, business opportunities, that you have to know and take advantage of, do not stop emerging.
