Internal Quality Assurance System

The Rey Juan Carlos University directs its efforts towards achieving the satisfaction of the needs and expectations of all its interest groups, both internal and external, and develops an Internal Quality Assurance System (hereinafter IACS) whose purpose is guarantee the continuous improvement of the quality of its study plans, its centers and all processes related to teaching that are taught there. To this end, it undertakes to use all the technical, economic and human resources at its disposal; always within strict compliance with the applicable legal requirements.

The URJC has a SIGC manual that includes the standards and procedures to guarantee the quality and adaptation to the needs of the official URJC qualifications and its own teachings, and that together with the Strategic plan which establishes the long-term direction of the university, constitute the two pillars to achieve institutional objectives over several years.

Both the quality manual and the strategic plan are developed in a participatory manner, involving various stakeholders, such as senior management, academic staff, students and other members of the university community. Additionally, these documents are reviewed and updated periodically to ensure they remain relevant and effective for the university.
