Basic Information
Presentation
In an environment where data plays a fundamental role in decision making, the ability to effectively analyze and visualize data has become an essential competency. The Microcredential in Interactive Data Analysis and Visualization: Creating Reports and Dashboards with Power BI is designed to provide specialized training in the use of Power BI, one of the most advanced tools for data analysis and presentation.
Through a practical and applied approach, this program allows you to develop skills in the creation of interactive reports and dynamic dashboards, optimizing the interpretation of information for different professional environments. Key aspects such as data modeling, the use of advanced Power BI functions and the automation of analytical processes are addressed to improve efficiency in data management.
This microcredential combines synchronous sessions with hands-on activities and interactive materials in a flexible learning environment. The growing need for professionals skilled in data analytics makes this microcredential an opportunity to acquire key skills in a high-demand field, driving digital transformation in organizations.
Objectives
- Develop data analysis skills: Learn to manage and transform large volumes of data from different sources for efficient and accurate analysis using Power BI.
- Master interactive reporting: Design and develop interactive reports and dashboards that enable end users to obtain clear and dynamic visual information, supporting data-driven decision making.
- Apply advanced Power BI functions: Introduce yourself to using DAX (Data Analysis Expressions) to perform advanced calculations and create custom visualizations that improve data analysis and presentation.
- Promote process automation in business intelligence: Automate repetitive tasks and report updates by integrating Power BI with other Microsoft services, optimizing business workflow.
- Foster teamwork skills: Implement and manage collaborative environments within Power BI, sharing reports and dashboards with different work groups in an organization, ensuring access to relevant information in real time.
- Contribute to sustainability and the SDGs: Use the knowledge acquired to promote data-driven decision-making in projects related to the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), such as resource efficiency and reducing environmental impact through data analysis.
