About Us

The procedure to follow is as follows:

  • The user contacts the unit (via email or telephone) and requests their registration in it.
  • Provide, among other things, the documents that prove the existence of a disability and/or special educational needs.
  • A personalized interview is carried out.
  • With the information obtained and taking into account your needs, an adaptation report is issued.
  • In the case of students, this report is sent to the coordination of the corresponding grade, being sent from there to the teachers responsible for the subjects in which the student is enrolled.
  • In the case of PAS, PDI or intern users, it would be sent to the corresponding service manager in each case.

Linked SDGs

Our work primarily addresses SDG 4 (quality education), but also addresses SDG 3 (health and well-being), 8 (decent work and economic growth) and 11 (sustainable cities and communities).

Who is it geared towards?

To all people with disabilities and/or special educational needs, SEN.

According to the WHO "disability” is an umbrella term that encompasses impairments, activity limitations, and participation restrictions. Impairments are problems that affect a bodily structure or function; activity limitations are difficulties performing actions or tasks, and participation restrictions are problems participating in life situations. It is, therefore, a complex phenomenon that reflects an interaction between the characteristics of the human organism and the characteristics of the society in which it lives.

People with "Special educational needs" are those that require specific attention derived from different degrees and personal abilities of a physical, mental, cognitive or sensory nature (for example, difficulties with reading and writing, attention deficit, etc.).
