The Minister of Health of the Community of Madrid, Mr. Enrique Ruiz Escudero, attended this award which took place within the framework of the celebration of the VIII Conference on Nursing Research which this year has been held under the title 'Care without borders : diversity in health-disease throughout life'.

The award for the best care research project in the Community of Madrid went to Ms. Cristina Oter Quintana, PhD candidate in the URJC Health Sciences Program (Clinical and Epidemiological Research). The award-winning project is entitled: "Identifying the nursing care needs of people affected by Chronic Fatigue Syndrome-Myalgic Encephalomyelitis."
