The artist looks through the drawing. This project arises from the need to understand how her body works. It is a study process in which the artist has tried to make sense of her new perceptions, of an altered sensibility. Noelia investigates through anatomical drawing, painting maps of her body where she searches for herself, at a symbolic level, trying to abstract scientific terms that she does not know a priori and that she tries to capture in an imagined way.

For the artist, a map is a delimited space, its dimensions are anchors of the drawing selected to give a sense of routine to her life in this rehabilitation process.

The exhibition will be available in the lobby of the administration building of the Alcorcón campus between July 8 and 12.
