The General Directorate of Public Health, Quality and Innovation and the General Subdirectorate of Environmental Health and Occupational Health of the Ministry of Health, Consumption and Social Welfare in relation to the 2019 United Nations Conference on Climate Change, which will be held soon in our country, informs us of a monographic session on climate change and health, which will be held on December 7 at the Complutense University of Madrid.

Climate change constitutes a threat of enormous dimensions to the health of the world's population, and governments, scientific societies and civil society must be involved to consider health as a key impact of climate change. For this reason, it is important to hold a monographic session on it, and we encourage the university community to participate by registering in advance. All the information about it, as well as the link for registration, can be found on the website http://climateandhealthalliance.org/event/gchs-madrid-2019/

The event will take place at the Faculty of Medicine of the Complutense University of Madrid (Av. Séneca, 2, 28040, Madrid) on Saturday, December 7, 2019, from 9:00 a.m. to 17:30 p.m.

On the other hand, as a civil society, there is the possibility of registering to participate in the meeting spaces planned within the IFEMA premises, you can consult the information at https://www.miteco.gob.es/es/cambio-climatico/temas/cop25/ , where you must register in the green area to be able to access the venue and participate.
