The URJC Animals and Society Chair, headed by Professor Nuria Máximo Bocanegra, has garnered important awards promoting projects on animal-assisted therapies

In this article, whose link we share below, Professor Nuria Máximo points out, based on scientific literature, that living with pets can have a preventive effect on the development of serious mental illnesses such as schizophrenia.
