II Call for grants for training in the area of ​​data science in Personalized and Precision Medicine

The objective of this call is award 3 scholarships, in a competitive concurrence regime, as financial aid to cover the registration fees for the completion of a Master in the area of ​​Data Science (Bioinformatics, Clinical Informatics,...) at any accredited university or institution in the national territory.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS:

  • Have Spanish nationality.
  • Possess a university degree, preferably in careers in the field of Sciences (Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Mathematics, Statistics, etc.) and Health Sciences (Medicine, Pharmacy, Biomedicine, Biotechnology, etc.) as well as in engineering from the computing and electronics branch (IT, Telecommunications, etc.).
  • Have applied for admission to master's studies at an accredited university or institution within the national territory.
  • Accredit the level of difficulty of the family economy to finance the enrollment of the master's degree.
  • Submit the application within the corresponding period.
  • The scholarship is awarded for enrollment in a master's degree that is taken in the 2020-2021 academic year.

To apply for the scholarship, the following documentation must be attached:

  • Scholarship application form duly completed, with a responsible statement of compliance with the requirements.
  • Copy of the national identity document.
  • Copy of the application for admission to the study center for the master's degree that is requested.
  • Curriculum vitae with a maximum length of 4 pages.
  • Copy of academic record, including the average grade.
  • Copy of the 2019 Personal Income Tax Return and/or current certificate of being a beneficiary of unemployment benefits and/or current certificate of active job search (whatever best expresses the economic situation of the applicant) .

The application and documentation must be submitted in Spanish.

The Roche Institute Foundation reserves the right to request original or certified documents and any other document it deems necessary.

Participation in the call implies acceptance of these bases.

DEADLINES:

The Fundación Instituto Roche will accept all those applications, duly completed, that have been sent from June 22 to July 31, 2020.
