COVID-19: Antigen test for young people at CAM universities

Posted by FMR

The Community of Madrid is going to install seven points to carry out rapid SARS-CoV-2 antigen tests on young people between the ages of 18 and 29. The tests to determine the infection will be voluntary and will be carried out mainly on university campuses, in collaboration with Madrid universities

Within the framework of the campaign carried out by the Community of Madrid, diagnostic tests of antigens will be carried out in different university centers in the coming weeks. Testing will beMonday through Friday in the morning (09:14 a.m. to 16:21 p.m.) and in the afternoon (XNUMX:XNUMX p.m. to XNUMX:XNUMX p.m.) by appointment on the website:  https://gestiona7.madrid.org/CTAC_CITA/TESTCOVID.

When requesting the appointment, you can select the university and the day that each student considers most appropriate, regardless of the university in which they are enrolled. The confirmation of the appointment will be received at the mobile phone number or email that is stated in the request.

Health recalls that the antigen tests are aimed at people who do not present symptoms of COVID-19 and offer a result 15-20 minutes after the sample is taken. Therefore, if any student has symptoms compatible with COVID-19 infection, they should not attend the appointment, but follow the general protocol established by the health authorities.

Specifically, the antigen test points are:

  • Autonomous University of Madrid, at its Cantoblanco Campus (Pza. Mayor Cantoblanco, on Ctra. Colmenar, km.15)
  • Carlos III University of Madrid, in the Palmira Auditorium (Avda. Federica de Montseny nº 1, in Getafe).
  • Complutense University of Madrid (Our Lady of Almudena Sports Center, Avda. de las Moreras,
  • University of Alcalá de Henares (Campus Pabellón Gala. Avda. Principal de la Universidad, 5).
  • Rey Juan Carlos University: Móstoles Campus (C/ Tulipán, s/n, exhibition hall of the Rectorate Building) and Fuenlabrada Campus (Camino del Molino s/n, Restoration Building).
  • Polytechnic University of Madrid (South Campus Sports Center, located in Vallecas).
