The eighth class of URJC medical students graduates from the University Hospitals of Fuenlabrada and Fundación Alcorcón

The graduation ceremony was held in person at both health centers

 

The University Hospitals of Fuenlabrada and Alcorcón Foundation (HUFA) They have celebrated the farewell and graduation ceremony of the students of the Medicine Degree of the Rey Juan Carlos University (URJC), following all the security measures in force against COVID-19. Lhe students carry out their clinical training in healthcare centers between the 4th and 6th courses of the Medicine degree. A total of 39 students graduated from the University Hospital of Fuenlabrada; while, in the HUFA, 29 students did so.  

Each act was presided over by the Managing Directors of each hospital (Mr. Modoaldo Garrido, HUFA; and Ms. Gema Sarmiento Beltrán, University Hospital of Fuenlabrada), the Rector of the URJC (Mr. Javier Ramos López) and the Dean of the Faculty of Health Sciences (Mrs. Carmen Gallardo Pino).

Antonio Zapatero Gaviria, Deputy Minister of Public Health and Covid-19 Plan of the Community of Madrid and former medical director of the Fuenlabrada University Hospital, opened the event in Fuenlabrada.

In both acts, the students were in charge of generating a very emotional act, in which they shared the vocation for their health training and highlighted the difficulties and experiences generated by COVID-19.
