16 university students benefit from an agreement proposed by the FCS

The Duplo Program of the Gregal Foundation grants aid for study. The students, in exchange, will live with older people

La Gregal Foundation, called for study grants within the Double Program, with the purpose of promote coexistence between older people and young students of the URJC. This activity, which Professor Andrés Losada Baltar (Psychology Department), he transmitted to the dean team of the Faculty, has been carried out under the agreement proposed by the University Life Program of the faculty.  

The students selected as beneficiaries of the aid will attend an average of 5 hours a week at a residence or place for the elderly to carry out with them a series of activities and group dynamics. The 16 grants awarded have gone to students of Psychology, Nursing, Physiotherapy, Energy Engineering, Occupational Therapy and Chemical Engineering. Therefore, the profile of the students reflects that it is a transversal action not only focused on Health Sciences and that, of course, it will generate double satisfaction and intergenerational learning among students and adults.
