On Wednesday, May 11, the prize-giving ceremony for the XIII Economics Olympiad in Madrid was held, in which second-year high school students from the autonomous community participated. The event took place at the Ramón Areces Foundation and, as usual, it was very gratifying and exciting for the winners, their families, their teachers and the university representatives present there.
The winning student was Olivia Beatriz Martínez Martín, from the SAN PABLO CEU MONTEPRINCIPE school. This same center has also been the Winning Team.
The first 15 classified students and their teachers were awarded. These students will represent the Community of Madrid in the final phase of the Spanish Economics Olympiad, which this year will be held at the Pablo Olavide University, in Seville, from June 20 to 22.
