Teachers Esther Nieto Garcia and Pilar Carrasco (Department of Medical Specialties and Public Health) promote the participation of students in the contest from the subject of Public Health in the 2nd Degree of Nursing YOUR POINT

Tu Punto is a program aimed at university students that provides information on the risks derived from drug use and on behavioral addictions; favoring processes of critical reflection and self-control and risk limitation strategies.

From the subject, we understand this activity as an important part of the reflection of the Public Health problem that drugs and all behavioral addictions represent. An increasingly current problem and with a greater number of people at risk of suffering from it.

Therefore, the students have made their own audiovisual version to present it to the contest. Being most of them directed to the new addictive problems: the use of mobile phones, gambling addiction, among others.

This activity has a teaching load of 20% of the subject, and for which it has been included as an educational innovation program, with the title: "Prevention of addictive behaviors among university students in the framework of the TU PUNTO program"

These are the videos:

Sa jury will be in charge of selecting the winner, but they can be scored with likes through the youtube channel.
