Juan Francisco Peña Cardelles, doctor from the Rey Juan Carlos University, Master in Oral Surgery and Implantology and Graduated in Dentistry from the same university, has recently been appointed professor Part-time (Lecturer, Part-time Faculty) in the Harvard School of Dental Medicine, Harvard University, being a professor at the Advanced Graduate Program in Implant Dentistry and in the Restorative Dentistry and Biomaterials Sciences Department of the most prestigious University in the world.
He recently finished his Fellowship in Dental Implantology in the division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and the division of Prosthodontics at the University of Connecticut, also obtaining the position of Associate Assistant Professor in the division of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery of said University.
Professor Peña Cardelles has had a very outstanding academic and professional career, being Doctor Cum Laude from our University, one of its youngest professors and doctorates, with more than 70 scientific publications in his field and trained outside our borders. only during a Fellowship year but also with short stays at university centers such as Harvard University, Tufts University, the University of Florida or the Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami.
Throughout his career, Dr. Juan Fco. Peña Cardelles has gathered successes that our University has echoed, such as the recognition for the best predoctoral research from the Madrid College of Dentists or the acquisition of the prestigious ITI scholarship Scholarship for his Fellowship in the United States, however, this position at Harvard University represents a new stage that, without a doubt, will give rise to new projects and a professional future that will contribute in a relevant way to the field of knowledge of Oral Implantology.
