The architect gave a lecture titled "Of water and wind. The Central Park of Madrid Nuevo Norte." Porras-Isla is the author of the project in collaboration with the Dutch studio West 8 and Estudio Guadiana.

This event, with free entry, was especially aimed at students of the Degree in Landscaping and the Degree in Fundamentals of Architecture at the URJC, as well as those studying double degrees related to these disciplines. At the symposium, Fernando Porras-Isla stated that the park would be located on the railroad tracks, near the Chamartín station, currently under construction. The project has been classified by experts as the new “architectural icon” of Madrid.

At the end of the conference there was a dialogue between the attendees and the architect, in which the former had the opportunity to ask questions and exchange ideas with Fernando Porras-Isla.

The organizers of the seminar describe it as a “resounding success” and point out that it has had “a notable attendance of both faculty and students.”
