The Doctoral Schools of the University of Alcalá (UAH), the Autonomous University of Madrid (UAM), the Complutense University of Madrid (UCM) and the Rey Juan Carlos University (URJC) jointly announce the Fourth “Thesis in 3 Minutes” Contest. The Rey Juan Carlos University is sponsored by the “Intelligent Energy” Campus of International Excellence.

About the contest:

• Students who are at least in their second training year of a Doctoral Program at any of the aforementioned universities and who have passed at least one annual evaluation can participate.

• Students must submit the corresponding application to the Doctoral School where they are enrolled by any of the procedures established by them.

• At the time of requesting participation in the competition, candidates must have the approval of their Doctoral Thesis Director.

• Participants will have three minutes to present their research topic.

• The contest will take place in two phases during the months of April and June 2019.

• The preliminary phase of the contest at the Rey Juan Carlos University will take place on April 23, 2019.

• In the final phase, five prizes of €500 will be awarded —one for each winner in each Branch of Knowledge— and fifteen prizes of €100 will be awarded to the rest of the contestants who have been finalists in the previous phase of each Branch of Knowledge.

The deadline for registration es until April 5 of 2019.
