Hackathon creUP! 2024. First advertising creativity competition at URJC

The creative talent accelerator creUP!, founded by professors Marta de Miguel and Antonio Baladrón, launches the first edition of the advertising creativity competition: Hackaton creUP! 2024.

This activity aims to promote the professional career of Advertising and Public Relations students at the Rey Juan Carlos University. Participants will face the resolution of a brief from the collaborating company for this edition: KFC.

Participation is free and open to students of the Degree in Advertising and Public Relations. Contestants will work in teams of 3 to 5 people and must comply with the rules of the call and the briefing requirements. To participate it is necessary to register from March 8 to 29 through the event website: http://eventos.urjc.es/go/hackatoncreup2024

On April 3, all those registered will be able to attend the presentation of the brief and start working on your creative idea to make it past the shortlist. This test will consist of making a one-minute video explaining your idea. The deadline for submitting the pre-selection test is April 12. From that moment on, the five mentors They will choose which team they want to compete with in the final phase and will advise the students in the final development of their idea before presenting it to the advertiser on April 26. creUP! is a creative talent accelerator that promotes the professional projection of Advertising and Public Relations students in the field of advertising creativity. Launched in 2022, it informs, advises and accompanies students in their participation in creativity contests. Hackathon creUP! It is one more activity in the objectives that this accelerator has to promote and make visible the talent of the advertising people who are being trained at the URJC.

It is an activity organized within the Teaching Innovation Group inCREAx and financed by the Call for educational innovation projects of the URJC 2023-2024 of the Vice-Rector's Office for Transformation and Digital Education and the Vice-Rector's Office for Teacher Training and Teaching Innovation.
