Today, December 1, World AIDS Day is celebrated, an opportunity to remember the impact of this disease. The Faculty of Health Sciences joins this World Day to remind its students and the entire university community of the need to be informed about AIDS and to defend the visibility and non-stigmatization of people who suffer from it. Prevention continues to be today the main mechanism to prevent the spread of the virus and health information and education, the main weapons for its fight. 

Taking advantage of this day, the Ministry of Health organizes an exhibition that reviews three decades of awareness about AIDS: from total ignorance to fighting against stigma. This exhibition, which is being held at the National Museum of Decorative Arts, reviews the main advertising campaigns carried out (http://www.culturaydeporte.gob.es/mnartesdecorativas/portada.html).
