The High Performance Research Group on Molecular Bases of the Association of Diabetes with Cancer of the URJC (DIABECANCER MOLECULAR), coordinated by Professor Custodia García, is a good example of it. The group has conducted research on the search for molecular biomarkers in cancers associated with diabetes, analyzing the role of metabolism and treatments.
He too High Performance Research Group in Physiopathology and Pharmacology of the Digestive System of the Rey Juan Carlos University (NeuGut-URJC), coordinated by Professor Raquel Abalo, has obtained important discoveries in this matter.
