Students of Political Science and Public Management at the Rey Juan Carlos University Live Parliamentary Experience in the Spanish Senate

Third and fourth year students of the Degree in Political Science and Public Management have visited the Senate of Spain where they have been able to hold a discussion on the parliamentary function and current political events with Josep María Reniu, Senator appointed by the Parliament of Catalonia and Professor of the University of Barcelona.

In an enriching educational initiative, third and fourth year students of the Degree in Political Science and Public Management at the Rey Juan Carlos University have had the unique opportunity to visit the Senate of Spain, a significant milestone in their academic training.

During this visit, the young academics participated in an interactive discussion with Josep María Reniu, a prominent Senator appointed by the Parliament of Catalonia. Reniu, who also works as a Professor at the University of Barcelona, ​​shared with the students his vast knowledge and experience in the parliamentary function and current political issues. This interaction provided students with a practical and realistic perspective on the intricate legislative processes and current challenges in the political field.

The program also included attendance at a plenary session of the Upper House, allowing students to witness a live parliamentary session.
