In a significant meeting for educational and cultural cooperation between Spain and Japan, the Faculty of Legal and Political Sciences of the Rey Juan Carlos University received today the visit of the Ambassador of Japan in Spain, His Excellency. Mr. Takahiro Nakamae.

During this important visit, the Hon. Mr. Nakamae was received by prominent faculty members, including the Dean, Ms. María Enciso Alonso-Muñumer; the Vice Dean of Postgraduate and Own Degrees, Mr. Fco. Javier Arias Varona; and the Vice Dean of Research and International Relations, Mr. Vicente Garrido Rebolledo.

The meeting, described as extremely cordial and productive, opened a fruitful dialogue on future collaborations between the Rey Juan Carlos University and several Japanese educational institutions. Mutual interest in strengthening academic and cultural ties was highlighted, with a particular emphasis on areas such as joint research, academic exchanges and possible double degree programs.

Both parties expressed their commitment to exploring avenues of collaboration that benefit both the Spanish and Japanese university communities. This meeting is a clear reflection of the growing relationship between Spain and Japan in the field of higher education and promises to open new opportunities for students and teachers from both countries.
