Series of Lectures on Service-Learning and Sustainable Development Goals at ESCET

Published by Subdirectorate of Communication, Promotion and Sustainable Development of the ESCET

ESCET organizes a cycle of talks (face-to-face or remotely) given by members of the URJC and external, with the possibility of recognizing RAC credits for its students.

This series of talks, related to several of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) and with the teaching methodology ofl Learning-Service (ApS), will take place during the months of March and April.

The ApS is an educational tool that tries to promote learning through concrete and real needs of the social environment, beyond the walls of the university. Thus, the student can develop not only curricular and professional skills, but also social skills. It is intended that the talks be participatory, that they give rise to delve into the subject and encourage debate.

This activity has Academic Recognition of Credits (RAC) for ESCET degree students who attend a minimum of 5 conferences (0,5 ECTS) and a maximum of 10 (1 ECTS), of their choice. Subsequently, they will have to prepare a brief report related to them.

You can now consult the program of talks and register this link, where you will also be informed of the venue or the link to the videoconference, if it is online. New talks can be added to the program.
