The URJC encourages Audiovisual Communication students and amateurs to participate in the XV Edition of the Proyecta Audiovisual Contest

Posted by Dounia Kaced Kaced

The international contest organized by the Cardenal Herrera University of Valencia (CEU) consists of a contest of audiovisual pieces presented by students from universities and film schools.

The call to present the audiovisual projects will remain open until June 14 of this year. The contest will be held in the Paraninfo of the organizing university and will have a jury made up of communication professionals.

During the ceremony, the finalist pieces of each of the following categories will be exhibited: fiction, documentary, video clip and advertising audiovisual. Participating students will be able to present as many works as they want in any of these sections. Although the theme of creation is free, those projects dedicated to the promotion of peace, human dignity, solidarity, understanding, concord, respect and the rejection of violence and fundamentalism will be especially valued. In addition, those productions that facilitate access to people with functional diversity, through the incorporation of subtitles, audio-description and interpretation in sign language, will be positively estimated.

The participants must be the holders of the intellectual property rights of their works or have the authorizations of the owners. Students who receive subsidies from public or private television networks or whose creations have been made within an agency or production company for commercial purposes may not participate.

Interested students can register through the CEU official page filling out a form. On the web you can also review the bases of the ceremony.
