URJC students are invited to participate in the second edition of the Journalism Laboratory on economics and the 2030 Agenda

The program is organized by Economists Without Borders (ESF) and is defined as a space for training and participatory creation of an online magazine on economics from a critical, social, environmental, feminist and human rights perspective.

Last October, Economists Without Borders, in collaboration with Pandora Mirabilia, launched the first edition of the Journalism Laboratory on the Economy and the 2030 Agenda, a space for reflection and learning on the economy, together with the support of the Spanish Agency for International Cooperation. for Development (AECID).

The laboratory, carried out online, is made up of four modules spread over four weeks. They train on journalism, teaching the basic tools of the trade and working with the different genres, always from a critical and transformative perspective. Once the training is over, they begin to work together on the development of the magazine.

Looking ahead to 2021, ESF is working to launch the second edition of the project in September, allowing participants to expand their knowledge of journalism and be able to participate in the creation of a digital magazine, as happened in the first edition with the birth of The pan by the handle.
