The short film in which the Rey Juan Carlos University has collaborated can now be enjoyed through the PlayCortos online platform.

Damn is the new project of the FCCOM student and his production company, The Book Films. This short film tells the story of Cecilio, a professor and exorcist by vocation, who must face the most difficult case of demonic possession of his entire career; To do this, he must face a dangerous demon and a curse that will haunt him for life.

This fiction, 28 minutes long, is the prequel to God in Absentia, his latest audiovisual work. For this new project they have relied on Arkham Contents, an audiovisual production company, and the URJC, who have co-produced them, providing them with a lot of quality material, and thus helping to achieve a much more professional result.

The short film by the young director has already won its first prize. The jury of Bloody Mirror of Los Angeles in the USA has awarded them the Best Short Horror Award. Curse has also been recognized at various independent festivals such as Nasty Frames Independent Film Festival.

The preview was held on July 16, at 18:20 p.m., in person at the Assembly Hall of the Madrid-Vicálvaro campus of the Rey Juan University. Currently it can be seen for free through the PlayCortos online platform.
