The students of the Faculty of Communication Sciences, especially interested in the different facets of the audiovisual, are the recipients of these conferences organized by three teachers from the Faculty of Communication Sciences of the URJC: Isleny Cruz, Gustavo Montes and Vicente Sanz of Lion. On Monday 22 and Thursday 25 in the afternoon, three telematic sessions will be held in which different experts in the field will offer talks related to the audiovisual environment applied to the performing arts.
The first of them, entitled “The audiovisual in multimedia performance”, will be given by the playwright and actress Saida Santana Mahmut, who will be accompanied by one of the organizing teachers, the director Vicente Sanz de León. Both will expose the function of the video that accompanies the scene to generate atmosphere and reform the scenery. It will be the first of the scheduled sessions that will take place on Monday from 5:7 in the afternoon. Shortly after, at XNUMX, the audiovisual creator and stage director Raúl de Águila will speak about the "Expressive potential of audiovisual media on stage" and will show, with practical examples, the various techniques that are incorporated into theater spaces.
The conference will continue on Thursday 25 at 17,30:XNUMX p.m. with the participation of the video set designer Álvaro Luna, a specialist in audiovisual production, a pioneer of the video scene and an expert in the inclusion of videos in opera, theater, dance and other shows. performing arts. In Luna's session, a question will be asked of the attendees: "What do we want to do with video in theater?" and, as a starting point, it will show examples of his work whose aim has been the constant search to give meaning and sensitivity with all the elements provided by the image and multimedia language.
